Nominate A Property

Do you know a place in Lake Forest that tells a story worth preserving?

We invite you to submit a nomination for the Lake Forest Preservation Foundation’s Historic Preservation Awards.

Any building, structure, or landscape in Lake Forest that is at least fifty years old is eligible for nomination. For the New Construction or Infill category, more recent projects may be nominated if they demonstrate outstanding contextual compatibility.

Nominations may be submitted by any interested person—including property owners, architects or designers, neighbors, friends, or even an admiring passerby who recognizes exceptional preservation work.

Award recipients are honored with handsome bronze plaques, presented at the Lake Forest Preservation Foundation’s Annual Meeting, recognizing their contribution to preserving the city’s historic character.
