The Preservation Foundation honors special places in Lake Forest which have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in the preservation of Lake Forest’s architectural heritage and historic character.

Advocacy is defined as “public support for a recommendation of a particular cause or policy.” Lake Forest Preservation Foundation promotes the historic preservation of Lake Forest’s unique visual character and fulfills this mission through education, funding, and advocacy.
