Since this summer, I have been reading, researching, and viewing synthe c roofs of all types that are used in historic and non-historic areas. Following the HPC tour on November 18, I am confident in making statements regarding the use of synthe c roofs in Lake Forest at the present me. The City of Lake Forest and the Historic Preserva on Commission (HPC) should engage in a regular due diligence review process on a semi-annual or annual review of synthe c material that might be appropriate for use on the houses in the historic districts.
